For today, an Adam Hughes (and Lynda Carter) inspired Wonder Woman. I sketched this in photoshop, printed it then inked it with technical pens and my Pitt Brush tip pen. I originally was just going to gray-tone it but got carried away and spent a couple hours coloring it, hope you likes.
Here's the final logo, I'll post the t-shirt design as soon as I finish it :)
I'm toying with the idea of coming up with several little doodles like this to go on my business cards. Collect 'em all!
just some quick gesture drawings I did in class today, I spent three to five minutes on each of these doodles.

I'm doing this drawing in prisma-color on Mi-Tientes also. This is a goofy practice that kind makes me look like an ape, but the colors are coming along pretty nicely.
Slight shift from yesterday. I'm still not sure how simple I want to go with this, but my gut says the simpler the better.
Still working on my Marino's logo. This is starting to look nice and it was damned fun to draw.

This is the second attempt at the self-portrait reflected from a mirrored globe. WIP, still a couple hours left on this.
I based these on a series of t-shirts that were mildly popular several years ago. The originals designs had things like guitars, surfing, classic cars, trucks, etc. I thought it would be fun to playfully exploit the less cheery side of our great nation with these more than slightly tongue-in-cheek designs. If you'd like a wallpaper version of any of them let me know I can easily re-size to whatever screen res you prefer :)
I decided to do a version of this in the Fantastic Four uniform, and then decided to go ahead and make it a full digital painting with no ink lines. Enjoy.
It's damned hard to get a photo or scan of a pencil drawing that looks as good as the actual piece. Even though this looks much better in person I still think I'm going to start over, make sure both sides of my head look right, and fix my goatee. I do really like the expression on my face. I'm also thinking that if I can find a larger reflecting globe this will be easier :)
My next project in my drawing class is a self-portrait from a reflection in a small silver globe. For a warm-up we drew the person sitting across from us and tried to mentally skew the anatomy. I think the top of his head should be smaller, but its not terrible.
