The older Bilbo pic was from around 1993 or 94, when I first read The Hobbit. In the newer version I wanted to show more of Bilbo's character and his inner struggle with his adventure. I have him looking back over his shoulder as he climbs through the mountains with a look that is half regret and half resigned enjoyment. I hope that comes across. I think I'll come back to this piece later and flesh out the background a little, it turned out pretty great :)
